Customer Appreciation Dive Events

Our dive events are open to all divers who have completed certification classes with Seattle Scuba,  or have completed an orientation dive with one of our Instructors or Divemasters.

If you did the Open Water Certification with us, or any of our wide variety of Continuing Education or Specialty Certification programs, you are welcome to join our events.  As long as you have a certification card received through Seattle Scuba, cold water diving experience, and recent diving experience,  you are welcome to join our activities.

We would love to have you join us on any of the dives, socials or any of the other events.  We do ask that if it has been more than a year since you last went diving that you complete a pool skills refresher with us prior to attending any of our events.

General Information
Our dive staff will be on site during the posted times to give you an overview of the dive site and lend you a hand getting in the water if you need it. These are not guided, supervised or instructional dives, you and another certified diver are planning and conducting your dive. The dive site descriptions are not meant to be used as any type of dive advice, or guarantee that it is suitable to the level of any particular diver. It is general info and recommendations only. Doing your own research is great, and knowing your own abilities and skill level is even better, and you should always be sure that you and your buddy(s) are comfortable doing a dive before you embark upon it.  If you don't bring your own buddy, don't worry

Please Note: The people staffing the events are mostly volunteering their time and often don't get to dive that day, so please consider bringing them cookies/tipping/some other form of appreciation for their time dedicated to helping you dive safely.

Reservations Required
Attendance to all events must be booked and paid through the Dive Center in advance of the event.
Cost: Variable!

Rental Gear is available at 1/2 price

Divers are responsible for transportation of themselves and their dive gear to and from the dive site.

Prerequisites: Open Water Certification (Sometimes Advanced Open Water for more difficult dives).  Must have cold water experience and hold at least one in water certification obtained through Seattle Scuba or have done an orientation dive with us.

Don't have cold water diving experience?

Schedule

Picture
Events are open to Open Water Certified divers unless noted as requiring an Advanced Certification or above.  Conditions may vary day to day so each diver is responsible to evaluate the dive conditions for themselves.  All divers must hold at least one certification gained through Seattle Scuba and have prior experience diving in a cold water environment.  We will have dive staff onsite to assist you on shore but, they are not there to conduct Cold Water Orientation dives or other training activities.  Unless otherwise noted, these are not guided dives.  You need to be able to safely plan and navigate the dive yourself.

Dive Guides:  If you would like a dive guide we may be able to supply one depending on Dive Guide availability.  Cost for a personal guide for the day is $195, over and above any fees charged for the days event.  Arrangements for a Dive Guide must be made in advance of the days events.

Please be at the dive site with gear assembled and ready to dive by the start time of the dive.  Many of the dives are planned for slack current.  Being even a few minutes late may mean that you will not be able to dive.  We look forward to diving with you.
